The return of the bookworm

Some very good news came my way yesterday; It turns out that many of the teachers that work at this english school I teach at are also avid readers who have some good collections of books here in Qatar. Thank God. One of the was kind enough to hook me up with two books today and I know that I'll be devouring them over the next weekend. One is Fast Food Nation by I forget who, but I have heard awesome things about it (I could get you an amazon link, but am lazy right now), and the other is called Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. I was not keen on reading teh latter as I have always stayed away from said author in the past just because of teh bestseller stigma but the lady assured me it was a solid book. Since my sister has laid claim to Fast Food Nation, I am left with no choice but to read this book and read it I will.

I can't wait. I could start now, but I know I will be bored tomorrow and the sun will be out, so I might as well save it and read it outside tomorrow while basking in the shade of a palm tree. Yessir, I have found books again. My brain cells are rejoicing.
