photoblog
So, the idea of having a photoblog has occured to me many a times, but a slew of factors (laziness no doubt being the greatest of them) has hindered my actions upon thought. It would be futile to make you anticipate any longer, as you have probably realised, I have started a photoblog.
I named it Snapped Footnotes ... why did I name it in cool reference to my university essays? Well, I am not a photographer that sits down and analyses a subject before snapping, I am more of a guy that just walks around with a camera and whenever it impedes me by being bulky in my pants, I pull it out and act like a pseudo-manaiac snapping pictures of any and everything I find odd, interesting or even beautiful. These pcitures are visual footprints, as I walk along, I have recorded my journeys and I hope to share some of its beauty and oddness with you.
Do visit often, becuz I will update often and leave comments because well, it makes a man feel important- especially a beginner photographer yearning for critical analysis. Here it is, the product of many a walk and many a click... Snapped Footnotes.
addendum: I have to say that photography is like all arts, very subjective. the beauty of something is hard to imagine for another if they stick to a narrow vision of beauty. This is precisely why most photographers suffer a lack of inspiration when they start to showcase their works to an audience, the lack of feedback and many a times, the lacklustre feedback can be crushing. I don't mean to stop you from critically analysing my works, infact I would be very glad if you did analyse it but I guess I just wanted to highlight some of the thoughts that criss crossed my mind as I was setting up the blog. What I am trying to say is that I am apprehensive about this project. I intend to throw my best work at it, and I hope you enjoy it, but I am apprehensive.
