I shaved yesterday for the first time in two and a half months. Thats not to say that I haven't shaved since December, I've just kept a pretty well trimmed beard. I called it my gangsta beard, mostly because it encapsulated all that is gangsta to me. I miss my gangsta beard. See how un-gangsta I've become just by shaving it?

I have my first interview tomorrow with a multinational in Doha. I don't even know what the job is. I don't have any clue whatsoever, actually. Someone passed on my resume, and here I am going to an interview. We'll see what happens.

I have fallen in love with my iPod all over again. After two months of not having access to new music to put on it, I have put the pod through its paces, constantly changing music on it and listening to new stuff all the time. I think the neighbor's children think my natural ears are silver with Sony emblazoned on them.

We have a container coming from Canada that is supposed to have been last week. However, its been sitting on the Doha port for ten days. Why? No one knows. The paperwork is held up, nothing from our side, just some shiekh thats supposed to sign the final release documents has gone off to Switzerland. Obviously, no one thought of delegating his duties, and so I sit here typing away on my sister's shoddy laptop knowing full well that I might lose this document at any moment. I want my own computer damnit!

There are no bagels in this blasted country. It really sucks. Cuz I love bagels. They have better cream cheese here though, but what do I do, put cream cheese on bread? Thats stupid.

The price of a falafel sandwich at my favourite falafel spot was raised from 2 riyals to three riyals. Oh, the humanity!!!
