Hafsa

Hafsa is the daughter of my dad's second to youngest brother. The last time I came here she was barely four- the most angelic girl. At the time, she used to live at my grandma'shouse, so I remember her the most out of all my cousins. I'd see her everydayrunning around as if entranced, with her cute ponytail at the top of her head thatlooked like a mini-fountain. She couldn't help smiling and laughing at everything, and because of her, everything in the house looked lit up as if it was through her that it got its energy.

I saw her again today, She's still the same girl laughing at everything, full of curiosityand mirth. She's in grade 8 now and you can still see intelligence sparkle in her eyeseven when she's the quietest one in the room, which she rarely is.
