"Niggas" are "Conservative"

The connection here is one that is missed by many people. The "me first" attitude of the "bling" generation closely matches that of the so-called conservative in many ways. Both put the well being of society as a whole behind what is going to benefit them directly. Never mind the fact this attitude could be destructive to their community (or country). If it works for them it's all good.

I was talking to a friend a few days ago and we ended up having a political argument. When I said the most important thing a community needs are people willing to help others. I told him that his "me first" attitude was very typical of a so-called conservative. His response was:

"then every nigga on the block is 'conservative' because coming up this is all i heard:

fuck that im trying ta get mine ya feel me!
fuck that shit nigga, im trying to get paid, if u aint wid me fuck ya!
...nigga its me against da world my nigga!"

The funny thing here is that he was right and he didn't even know it. Let's look at each of those statements again with a so-called conservative parallel underneath it in it in bold

"fuck that im trying ta get minez ya feel me!"

"Why should I pay for someone else's needs? I don't believe in socialism."

"fuck that shit nigga, im trying to get paid, if u aint wid me fuck ya!"

"...nigga its me against da world my nigga!"

Now so-called conservatives will dispute this connection by claiming they have a "higher moral code" than your average "nigga" on the street. But in reality they don't. In most cases, the bling obsessed brotha on the street, being unable to acquire wealth through a socially acceptable occupation, turns to vice in order to achieve his goals. Studies prove the environment in which we "work" and live shape our idea of what is moral and what is not. So the brother "slingin" on the street is obviously going to have a different view of morality than does the cat sitting behind a desk at a fortune 500 company. That said, the dude behind the desk most likely has a porn stash at home, a girlfriend on the side and a dysfunctional family life at home. The dude behind the desk would lie, cheat and steal if he thought he had to in order to keep his job or just make more money. Now society would have you believe these two are on the opposite end of the social spectrum. We call one a "self made man" and the other a "hustler". But in reality, they have the same attitude. The only things that separate these two are the means in which they acquire wealth and the visibility of their "immorality".

so yea "niggas" are "conservative".
Or better yet, conservatives are "niggas".
