Today was a Good Day.
So, I went to MAC and tried to figure out my academics and financials and stuff.
I was expecting a tough day with soem tough decisions to make, yet, it was all prety good and simple.
I found out that I did well enuff last year to get into an Honour Program for Pol Sci. Since the minimum average I had to get last year to get into the honours stream was a 10 GPA, I am pretty happy that I got in. Cuz that is no easy task in 4th year. I am fuckign happy about that. I worked my ass off last year, first semester more than the second and I'm glad it played off.
So, I got into honours. However, to complete an honours degree i need one more 6 unit course from the fourth year Pol Sci courses. Those courses are balloted for and you get in according to your ballot. The balloting process takes place in May. So, I had missed that deadline by a longshot. However, when I went into the Pol Sci office to see what I could get, or atleats to get a better idea of my situation, the secretary told me she had three spots left open in three different courses. And lo and behold, one of those spots was in a course that would have been my first choice by far. International Political Economy w/ Dr. Stubbs.
Yipppee Kayayayeee!
So, now, not only am I in Honour Pol Sci, I also only have about 200 bucks to go on my student account, I have a course in a class that I want. That is the last required course I have to take. Other than that, I only need 9 other units which will all be electives. With those 15 units, I graduate from Mac.
I write my LSATs in October. So, now that it seems that my academics are in order, I have to get cracking on those. Deadline to start is August 1.
I am so happy right now..
