I've been rearranging letters for recreation and recompense since I was 10. there hasn't been any money yet, but I'm keeping the faith.

i took the bus home yesterday.. i hate taking those kinda trips especially on a sunday bcuz it takes soo long.. took me three hours to get to mississauga.. when in actuality.. it's just a half hour away by car..

but in reality.. although i dread the long trip.. once i get started on it.. i enjoy them immensely.. it gives me a great opportunity to people watch.. some things I see are negative.. some are good.. but almost all of them are situations i would never notice if i was travelling with someone else...

here are a few things i saw while i was passing by on the GO bus yesterday..

- while waiting for the HSR (Hamilton Street Railway) bus at the bus stop near my house.. i saw one of the most fascinating things ever.. there was a HUGE bee that was sucking out the nectar from flowers aroud the area... it would go into one flower..suck out the nectar and then go to the next one.. i can't explain it but there was a certain hypnotic beauty to the whole process that mesmerized me..

- There's a church that the GO bus goes by on its route.. this church has a cemetery.. as the bus was going by.. there was a funeral service being performed.. as i looked on for what could not have been more than just a few miliseconds.. I saw a lady dressed completely in black, faint while the people around her scrambled to help her to her feet...

- I saw another lady driving with 5 kids in the car with her.. what was most peculiar about her was that she was a reading an Iranian newspaper while she drove.. This did not happen for a moment or two only either... we travelled adjacent to each other for a good 15 minutes... she drove the whole distance reading the newspaper.. he eyes came up to the road barely twenty times in that period...strangely callous..

- Another lady on the GO Bus itself.. she was so old.. her right arm had atleast 200 wrinkles... there was a certain beauty about her... i can't explain it.. she was reading a book.. she seemed so happy.. just sitting there .. readin her book.. she never looked up...well.. she did once when I asked her what book it was she was reading... something called Scoop.. the whole time... while she was reading.. you could sorta make out a smile on her downturned face...

- another guy behind me.. he was having a conversation with his daughter who could not have been more than 6 years old.. she was talking to him about how he loved andrew more than her.. i could not help overhearing.. bcuz she sounded so cute... and the father .. he sounded genuinely distressed and completely unsure of what to say to his little girl.. andrew i guess was her brother.. however old he was.. the father mumbled and fumbled around his explanation of how much he loved her and finally told her in simple terms that he loved her.. he loved andrew too.. both equally.. and that just bcuz he played more soccer with andrew did not mean that he did not love her.. he told her he would go to the ends of the earth to make her happy.. the daughter was happy with that explanation i think.. she gave him a kiss and went to sleep in his arms..

i love trips... there's so much beauty in so many little situations that we miss out on in our hectic lives.. regrettable.
