still pumped about the concert.. 68 hours left.

I made a huge mistake last night that I just figured out will screw me over.. possibly. I deposited $100 into each of my Royal Bak and Citi Bank credit cards as payments for next month. But, I did it online. Meaning that it won't go through till Wednesday or in the case of Citi Bank, at least till Thursday. That sucks. Cuz I have abt $400 in the bank right now and 325 is going to rent the day after the concert.. so I basically have $75 for the concert. Oivey!

I also get a pay cheque two days after the concert. So, what I should have done was waited till friday to make the card payments. But, in my excitement of finally having enough to spend.. I paid too early. Stupid. Stuff is gonna be expensive at the concert and I figure I gotta have atleast 150 to get by. PLus I owe some money to my boys too. So, I'm in a pickle. Guess I'll just have to borrow from my sis or something...

I hate stupid people. More than that, I hate myself when I do stupid things like that.

Two days ago.. the American government killed Saddam Hussein's two sons. It then went on to publish their pictures and release them to the media in order to provide proof of death. But, in a conference held after the deaths had been announced, American officials faced some tough questions.. Here is an excerpt from the latest post by The Baghdad Blogger. This is a first hand account of what happened at that news conference. These are not my words.. they are Salaam Pax's (a pseudonym). Here we go...

"...At that press conference there was a gentleman who asked an extremely important question which was answered by Sanchez [American Spokesman]with “that is speculation. Next question.” I later found out that the man in front of me was Fisk and the question he asked which we all want to be answered was: why was the decision made to attack with a force that would have been capable of annihilating a city block? Why did they opt for killing them when they knew their importance as sources of information on all sorts of things and the wish all Iraqis have that they be put thru trial?
Fisk started the ball rolling, sanchez was asked the same question at least 5 times in different ways and with it the question of how to prove this to the Iraqi people...."

The man that Salaam was talking about was Robert Fisk (the British journalist whose articles I provide a link to once in a while).

That is really interesting indeed. Thank you Salaam for writing such informative pieces that provide me and others with an alternative.

one of the most funny webistes out there as far as I am concerned is Emotion Eric. Check it out if you have never visited it. I guarantee that at the very least, it will make you smile.

I'm gonna go take a nap... feeling kinda sleepy.
