I have narrowed my blogging destinations down to four regular pit stops everyday. I did not do this on purpose, but today it occured to me that I had not visited the other sites on my list for a few days; but, everytime I get on the computer I have to visit these four sites just as I have to visit the Guardian or BBC. And that, is a high complement! The lucky bloggers who I cannot live without are a Nigel, Joanna, Zoe and Barbara. All of them have different writing styles and ideas they want to get across. That is exactly what I like about them.
Nigel just writes about any old thing... and it is always exteremely hillarious. I look forward to when he updates because I am guaranteed a laugh. He represents the want for humour in my life. I am not very funny when I write, but I like to think I have a great sense of humour (both in the context of giving and taking) when I am face to face with a people.
Joanna on the other hand, is a very eclectic individual. Much like me. She seems to like a lot of the stuff that I do. I find that I like everything. All types of music, books, technology related stuff, all sports (I have even developed a sense for baseball.. go figure!), plays and musicals etc etc. I like it all. In fact, I like life. I try to enjoy it to the fullest and Joanna seems to share that sentiment. She is my daily dose of eclectica while I sit here in this extremely quaint and predictable city called Mississauga.
Moving on to Zoe... She is funny too. But she talks about her own life a bit more. What happened today on her day and what she feels about this or that. It is a much more personal interaction (while ironically, we do not even know each others real names). We also both agree that her boyfriend is a twat. I love Zoe because she updates often and makes me think while also giving me a chuckle once in a while. She is the more personal side to my psyche. The one that likes to talk about .. ME!
Lastly, we have Barbara, a blogger from Toronto. She is a poet and writer too I think. The word I would use to describe her blog is 'serene". Her thoughts make me enjoy the beatuy of this world. I am the kind of person that could sit under a tree for a whole day and be the happiest man on earth taking in the sounds of the lake/forest/baseball diamond around me. Her words are beautiful. She writes eloquently. That is something I find hard to do since I have gotten used to these damn elipsis points an exclamation marks! Barbara represents the more serene and calm side to my character. The side that enjoys life for its beauty and is amazed by its little nuances.
so... a huge Thank you is in order to my four favorite bloggers!
