I can't sleep.. so I think I'll post some good links and rant a bit..

First off... totally cool... the absolutely ginormous operation that is going on currently to seperate two adult conjoined twins from Iran. The operation is being carried out as I write this and is currently scheduled to go for four days 9we are now into the third day). It is beng held in Singapore. This is huge! These are adults we are talking about. These women easily look 35 or 40 years old. Some complications have popped up and have slowed the surgery down a bit.. but for those that are keeping track.. we are seeing history in the making ..

Both or either of these women could die. Both or either of them could survive but have severe handicaps. Or... hopefully they will both survive and lead happy lives. Needless to say, I wish them luck.

in other news.. the Chilean "blob" I mentioned a few posts ago could be an octopus.
