had a bit of BBQ today.. even though it started raining 10 minutes into the cooking, we managed to salvage the chicken. It was really good.

as a postscript to the chow news: are green/red/yellow peppers the best vegetable ever or what? Can anyone think of any vegetable better? If you can, you should see a shrink. No, seriously.

Speaking of people from the medical profession, on my way back from the doctors (asthma medication refill), I stopped by a used cd store that just opened up in our neighbourhood. I bought two cds. One was "Surfacing" by Sara McLachlan. It's her best cd as far as I am concerned. I got that for a mere $5.99. The second cd I bought was "Fully Completely" by The Tagically Hip. This cd is once again the best cd by this band. I got that one for $8.99. Great deals to say the least. So, I was happy all day because I shopped well and spent good money on good stuff.

Things are getting closer as the "Stones/AC-DC/Rush/Sam Roberts/The Guess Who + more undisclosed surprises" concert gets closer. 81 hours left till I walk into Downsview Park for SARSapalooza/Woodstock North/STONEfest.

If you wanna laugh a bit, listen to AC-DC's "Big Balls". Hillarious.

man.. am i ever pumped for this concert.. It's gonna be an awesome time.. I cannot wait.

Also, I've been listening to a lot of Dead Prez lately. A few songs of theirs are really really good. "Propaganda", "Behind Enemy Lines", "Animal in Man", and "Mind Sex" are definitely songs worth checking out.

Btw.. did you know that Kobe Bryant does not have a pre-nuptual agreement. Oivey! (hi Britt!) According to California law, if his wife divorces him (which she obviously will IF he is convicted), she will get half of all he has and all he will ever make. That's a lot of moolah people..

plus, Nike is probably crying tears of blood right now. They just gave him a new long term multi-million dollar contract. What goes around comes around.

btw.. I have to say this.. my boy Iverson don't look too bad now does he?... he's just got tatoos. But, atleast he treats his wife and kids with respect and love. Or so it would seem. But, I have faith in my boy Iverson. You rock man...

Speaking of tatoos... I want to get one. Had a good conversation with Ali about them. I want one. Not really that badly and I am not gonna make any decision lightly. But, if the right one comes along, and I see a design/message that I really like, I might be persuaded to get it when I graduate from uni.

And I've gotten over the whole blue and red maple leafs on my shoulder idea too. I'm talking about a tat thatw ill embody my life philosophy and stuff like that. Sumthin' deep people...
