I went to IKEA yesterday. I love that place. If I was given the choice of maxxing out my credt card at any one store, I would choose IKEA. If you read the previous post, you know that I really really wanted to two things from IKEA as of yesterday. But , what you want before you walk in to IKEA and what you want after you have steppped over that famed Swedish threshold are two different things altogether.

I need the following for my at university next year: a bed, a computer desk (really simple one, nothing too fancy), a computer chair, a chest of drawers, a storage system (for books, accesories, supplies) a lamp and an armoire or closet I guess...

so yesterday I found great deals on two of these things at IKEA. I bought a computer desk chair that I absolutely love. It was the last piece they had in the store. So I am lucky to have gotten it. The link is from their Czech website I think. For some reason they do not show it on the Canadian website. The second thing I bought was a Computer desk. I can't find a picture of this one anywhere. I don't know why... but trust me it was a good deal. And, it looks simple yet elegant.

As far as the treasure chest and floor lamp go ... they were out of stock on the former product and I chose not to buy the latter at least for now. I have another two months to go before school and there is no reason to stretch out my money when I could easily buy it later...

so there you have it.. Uzi's first shopping trip this usmmer. A resoundig success. Two great products found and bought. Only a handful of money spent.. and the promise of at least one more trip to IKEA this summer.
